As part of our topic study on endangered animals, Rooms 6 and 19 visited the Auckland Zoo today. The first part of our visit was a self-guided tour, while the second part involved learning about tigers and orangutans, two endangered animals. Many thanks to all the parent helpers who came along - without you, this trip would not have been possible.
I really enjoyed our zoo trip yesterday, I learnt alot about endangered animals and the reasons why they become endangered. John (our zoo advisor) also told me some interesting facts that I didnt know. Did you know that female lions do the hunting but the males get to eat first?
ReplyDeleteThat was a amazing day on Wednesday.The thing I enjoyed was how I was in Mr Dawson group and we got to know information about orangutan and tigers.
